I am a filmmaker, scriptwriter and director.

I have also produced and worked on three other short films.

As I have progressed as a writer and filmmaker, I have learned that scriptwriters are storytellers and they should have something authentic and meaningful to say through their work. In my work, I deal with subject matters close to my heart, such as mental health, trauma, creativity and love.

Are You Awake?

Are You Awake? is a short film based on the Zoom platform, which explores a love story between Jehnny and Milo. Feeling trapped by lockdown, they reunite via Zoom and examine their relationship and subsequent breakup. But this is a love story with a horror twist!

The short film examines the struggles of those who have PTSD and the effects of trauma, as well as the often transitory nature of love.

Vincent Van Gone

Vincent Van Gone is a short film with the basic conceit; what if Vincent Van Gogh had lived – with all his struggles and mental health issues  in modern times?

We follow Vincent as things go from bad to worse. He goes through a breakup, he fails to sell any of his paintings and he fails to get a job. He continually wrestles with his demons, with painting and creativity being his only release. But is there hope for Vincent in these dark days?

The character’s journey is also based on my own reality, making this script semi-biographical. The short film – if realised – would highlight the stigma which faces all people with mental health issues who work in the creative industries.

Love is Enormous

Love is Enormous is a prospective episodic TV show based in 1960s London, that portrays a whirlwind romance between two troubled creatives, Eve and George. Both characters have shared trauma and the universe has seemingly brought them together. But can their love last, as they struggle to make and produce a ground-breaking hit TV show at the BBC?
