Scriptwriter, spoken word poet and author

I have a penchant for speculative fiction, particularly sci-fi, but I’m always eager to try new things and experiment with new ideas. Whatever I write, I always aim to tell a story as humorous as it is tragic and which touches on real-world issues. I write to entertain, but also with the aim to use that entertainment to make people think and to show all the colours of our world and humanity rarely seen in media.

My previous work includes a published short story in the anthology Tales of the Forgotten World, as well as an audio drama called The End Of Their Worlds which was produced as my dissertation project in the third year of a BA Creative Writing course in 2019.

Poetic Justice

For this MA Scriptwriting showcase, I am looking to expand on the techniques learned during my previous project to produce an experimental murder mystery called  Poetic Justice, an audio drama set at a spoken word night which descends to murder. The project consists of one 15-minute part produced for the showcase and a further 15-minute part which resolves the mystery. Due to the continued persistence of 2020, these were recorded online via Discord, with the use of a recording bot called CRAIG, rather than in a recording studio.
